White Sox Game Today: Lineup, Odds, Prediction, Pick, TV for Oct. 11 Game 4

The Chicago White Sox came back home with their backs against the wall. The Houston Astros took both games from the White Sox back in Texas so a 2-0 deficit was the story. Houston was better in every way for the first two games and if things continued like that, the White Sox were going to be swept out of the ALDS.

Luckily, they showed up to play in their first home game. It was their first home playoff game since 2008 so there was plenty of excitement across town. Things didn't start off well, however, as the White Sox fell behind 5-1 early. They were able to mount a comeback and win the game by a final score of 12-6 to force a game four.

Game four will be back at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago. The White Sox are hoping that this will get them going and allow them to force a game five back in Houston. It is going to be interesting to see how they manage to pull that off if they are able to.

White Sox vs Astros odds today

According to our friends at WynnBET, the White Sox are -125 to win the game. The Houston Astros are +115. The over-under is set at 9.0. You can take the over at +100 and the under at -120. The Astros +1.5 is currently sitting at -170 but the White Sox -1.5 is +150.

For the second time in a row, the White Sox are betting favorites. So far in this series, the WynnBET betting favorite has gone on to win the game every time. Hopefully, that trend continues today.

White Sox pitcher today:

Carlos Rodon is going to be the starting pitcher for this one. He has dealt with some arm soreness and fatigue late in the season so it will be interesting to see what his outing looks like. Hopefully, he is the Carlos Rodon that we have known as an elite pitcher this year. He is scheduled to go up against Jose Urquidy of the Houston Astros.

White Sox starting lineup

Expect the exact same lineup as the one that dropped 12 runs on the Astros the night before. The only difference that you might find is Andrew Vaughn. It isn't a lock but they just might use him as the designated hitter instead of Gavin Sheets. However, they are both great and you can't go wrong with either.

White Sox vs Astros prediction today

The Chicago White Sox are going to win this game. They have been too good this season not to push it to a game five at home. A winner take all in Houston could go either way but this game should belong to the White Sox. It is going to be fun to see them go out there and play in front of the home fans again. Hopefully, this comes true and it isn't the last game of the season.
